Problem Set Number 12, Due Tuesday Dec 1 or Thursday Dec 3.

These problems can be discussed in groups but must be handed in by each student. Keep in mind my warnings about how to learn in the Syllabus.

The reading assignment for next week is Sections 12.5.1, 12.5.2, and 12.6. These are the only parts of 12.5 that will be covered on the final, plus all of 12.6.

This is our last homework assignment. It isn't typical. You might think that what is atypical is that there are lots of problems, but that's not it. What is atypical is that some of these problems will show up on the final. You will consider them the easy problems on the final because you will have worked them already.
