Problem Set Number 5, Due Tuesday or Thursday Oct 8 or 10.

These problems can be discussed in groups but must be handed in by each student. Keep in mind my warnings about how to learn in the Syllabus.

This set is due in section. The TA will decide whether it is due at the beginning or end. Lates are not accepted.

The reading assignment is Sections 10.1, and 10.2. Remember, we have an exam on Oct 4.

Pay attention.

The first part of the problem set is to print out the exam that was (will be) given on Oct 4 (it will be posted some time Oct 4 after the exam). Do all the problems on the exam and hand them in as part of your problem set.
