The textbook for the Fall 2011 Calculus II for Physical Sciences and Engineering, 110.109, is Single Variable Calculus, Early Transcendentals, by James Stewart, 7th Edition. The ISBN-13 is 978-0-538-49867-8 and the ISBN-10 is 0-538-49867-6. The content is pretty much unchanged from the 6th Edition, so when it comes to reading the book and learning the material, it will suffice. However, all homework assignments will be given in terms of page numbers and problems in the 7th Edition, and they will no doubt be different from the 6th Edition. I have asked to have the 7th Edition put on reserve for the course in the library and presumably someone you know will buy the 7th Edition. I would personally find it inconvenient to have to track down the homework every week along with the answers in the back of the book etc.
