Calculus III, 110.202, Fall 2006, W. Stephen Wilson

Problem Set Number 7, Due Th-Fri Oct 26-27.

These problems can be discussed in groups but must be handed in by each student. Keep in mind my warnings about how to learn in the Syllabus.

This set is due at the beginning of section. There will be a quiz in section on this material.

The reading assignment for the week is all of Chapter 5. There is a lot in here and it can't all be covered in lecture. You really have to read this stuff. I fear that the course is about to accelerate (c"(t)) dramatically. I won't be able to work anywhere near enough examples in class to demonstrate all of the idiosyncracies of double integrals. You're going to have to get this out of the problems. If you aren't getting it, then use the student guide and work lots of odd number problems where you can check your answers.
