Backup and file restore

A full system backup is made over the network each week. (Sometime near the weekend.) Then on each day between full backups, an incremental backup of the files modified since the previous backup is made. A selection of these backups is saved for an extended length of time so that a file can be retrieved even if its loss has not been noticed for several weeks.

To request that a file be restored, contact system administrator and provide the following information: the full path name of the file and the approximate date of the version you would like restored. This also applies to email Inbox or other mail fodlers.

During server migration, we try our best to move all user data (documents and email) from old server to new server. If, however, you notice that some of your data was not migrated correctly, please contact me.
