Title: Morse theory in infinite dimensions.

Abstract: I will use results of Donaldson and Calabi to set up an interesting Morse-Bott function on an infinite dimensional manifold. We then use this framework to obtain information about the topology of the symplectomorphism group and the space of complex structures on certain 4-dimensional symplectic manifolds. The talk should be accessible to a general audience.
